Driveway camping at Gail's house

We left Tall Pines RV Park in Shreveport at 7:00 Tuesday morning, and arrived at Gail’s house around 1:00 pm.

I managed to back the trailer into their driveway right where I wanted it, surprising all of us!

Mike grilled steaks and hamburgers for dinner this evening, and we spent the evening in conversation on every conceivable subject trying to catch up on everything we’ve missed sharing since their move to Texas.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another sunny day in the 70’s, so we plan to drive to Galveston.

The houses on the street are beautifully decorated for Christmas.  Unfortunately my camera doesn’t pick up the glow  that shimmers over the entire neighborhood.  So rather than post a disappointing photo, I’ll try again later to capture the magical luminosity.
