/ April 27, 2015And best of all, she has real responsibilities for keeping a lookout for the other livestock. And a working dog can’t be happy without a job.
The only time I ever saw that look of intense anticipation on her face was at treat time. Now I think her whole life is a treat! 🙂

/ April 27, 2015Jan, I do miss her. I’m not comfortable taking walks without her. And I miss her sassy little ways, and the way she would “talk” to me. She could express so many emotions–funniest of all was exasperation when she couldn’t make me understand what she was saying.
But she has the best life an Aussie/Lab could hope for now. And I like to think that we gave her a good start. She loves everyone and just assumes they love her, too.
And she was “born to run” and now has 20 beautiful acres to run to her hearts content — and young people with the energy to keep up with her! And the whole family adores her.
