This doe and her fawns were all in one far away photo, but were difficult to see. So I cropped them and put them together so you could see each one.
My photos are not so great today. I’m trying to break in a new camera and am not sure if I like it or not.
Just a pretty view.
Also, all of the flowers are past their prime, so it’s not a lot of fun to post their pictures!
Deer are plentiful here. It appears that all of the does had twins this year.
And so far, the only mushrooms I’ve found have been dried up and past their prime, too.
Hopefully tomorrow’s photos will be more interesting. And of better quality! 🙂

/ July 30, 2014Well . . . you have a picture of it. What can you do with that? Maybe outline it onto a triple piece of heavy duty tinfoil, and then paint it with some kind of paint that isn’t entirely opaque so the shiny comes through? Glue some kind of a clasp onto the back. Probably wouldn’t last like real jewelry, but would make you smile every time you put it on. Or you could just pin the picture itself up on a curtain in your kitchen where you would see it all the time. I’m not at all crafty, so someone with your talents could probably think up dozens more possibilities!

I don’t think I would be happy with any of my craft efforts. I do like the idea of the picture, though. Maybe I’ll frame it and put it on my desk at home and smile every time I look at it!

/ July 30, 2014I bought two lucite frames – one vertical and one horizontal. They are meant for holding information cards at conventions, check-in desks, etc.. I expect to use them temporarily to put photos that I take that are meaningful to me in some way that I want to look at. Just slip it in and enjoy. No need to frame, and easy to switch out the photo. I got 8 x 10, but now wish I had 5 x 7 instead.

/ July 30, 2014New cameras are a like puzzles sometimes. I have discovered that I need to rely on my tri pod more since my shoulders just aren’t strong enough to support the camera for very long.
You pictures look great to me. I need to read up more about my new camera too. With all this house boundness you would think I would get on it.
