While I should be packing for our upcoming trip, I am still obsessively drawing DIY solo camper van plans!
I promise to buckle down and live in the real world tomorrow! 🙂

/ November 3, 2013Perhaps that’s your calling. Van vs Casita?

/ November 3, 2013For solo camping, I’d definitely prefer a van. For the two of us, Ron and I love the Casita.
Sometimes a girl just wants to run away from home for a couple of days! 🙂

/ November 3, 2013I can always find something else to do when the packing is upon me!
Looking forward to following your new adventure…..we’ve stayed at the COE last winter while heading toward Fort Pickens…everything looked new!
Have lots of fun!!!!!

/ November 3, 2013Lynne, Carla sent me a photo of the view from her site. It is gorgeous!
Can’t wait to get there! Am making good progress on the packing now.
I am expecting camping with them to be wonderful! 🙂

/ November 3, 2013Love the plans. Even your blueprints are stylish. If you decide to move forward, let me know. I have some good resources for you. But again, you have such a great prototype with your sister’s van.

/ November 3, 2013Thanks so much, Kim. But I’m on hold until I get the roof paid off. I’ve got superb credit but don’t want to bite off more than I can chew. 🙂

/ November 3, 2013With several of you packing for, or already traveling, you’re pushing me to finish up the drain so I can steal a few days for boondocking. Thanks! BTW, love your van design. It would make a good tug for the Casita, too.

/ November 3, 2013It would make a great tug, wouldn’t it, John? The best of both worlds… a good tug for the Casita and a little run-away for me now and then!
I love your new sink. Wish I had room for something like that in my Casita!

/ November 3, 2013Well, whether I ever actually do the van or not, it sure is entertaining drawing plans. Sometimes I think that is reward enough. If I got the van, after the new wore off, I would be drawing up plans for something else.

Thanks for the good wishes. We can’t wait to hit the road!
