After yesterday’s dismal post, I didn’t want to leave you worrying about my health.
I went in for the stress test today. It wasn’t fun, but I did okay. As I was walking out of the hospital, I realized I felt FANTASTIC.
My doctor has been after me to exercise more, but I haven’t been very good about doing it because I feel like I can’t get enough air. But I realized, after the stress test and the REALLY deep breathing that it required, I had gotten a lot more oxygen in my system than usual, and I couldn’t believe the energy and feeling of well-being I experienced.
So….. Now I know that getting exercise isn’t just something that I am “supposed” to do. It’s magic!
So, between thunderstorms tomorrow, I will get the window put in. Now I am chomping at the bit to get it done!

/ June 26, 2013Ommmmmm BREATH!!! Had to give you a boost just passing on through the stress test – WAHOO! Maybe some chair yoga….my yoga and pilates classes taught me much about just breathing exercises. For one, you organs love you for it :O) Eight breaths in….eight low ones out!

/ June 26, 2013I’ll probably use the indoor exercise bike except on evenings when it’s cool enough to get out and walk the dogs. Or maybe I should start getting up at daybreak and doing that then.
I’m looking forward to trails in the mountains in July!
