The Electrical Mystery is Solved!!!

The wiring to the Casita's dinette light

The wiring to the Casita’s dinette light

Thanks to blog readers Tim M. and John, I now know how to wire the Fantastic Fan!!!

All I have to do is remove those blue connectors in the photo, add my white fan wire to the bundle, then connect those three wires to the incoming white wire.  The black fan wire will be connected to the other bundle.

I’m not quite ready to start the installation now as I still have some prep work to get done, but now I know that I can do a great job on it!

THANK YOU Tim and John for your generous, and greatly appreciated help!!!

Boy that’s great. It’s what life should be about – sharing and helping one another. I am learning about my new Kindle and have a couple of friends helping me. Tonight I learn Skype!

    • Emily, I read that you had won the Kindle. I was so tickled, and am just thrilled you won it!

I saw a post from Eric that said there are Youtube videos showing you how to use the Kindle Fire.

I’m no help because I’m still doing laptop and cell phone! 🙂

I have the Nook Color and I like it. I also have a Kindle app on my laptop so I can read Kindle books. I think you are really gonna like it.
Lol I have to laugh at the kids that seem so surprised that us “older folk” can actually use and enjoy new technology. They think it’s their world. Poor babies.

Isn’t it great that we have so many resources to help us solve almost any problem these days? You’ll do a great job!

    • What’s really great is that when I was trying to figure it out on my own, I was going the hardest, most roundabout way. The guys with experience knew a much faster, simpler way!

I think weather is going to keep me from working outside next week. It’s supposed to start getting much cooler Monday. Our 10 day forecast has one day with a high of 42 and a low of 19. Can’t work with adhesives and caulking until spring gets here — someday — hopefully! 😀

Holycow, I thought that was ice on those connectors! But when I looked harder and put two and two together, it’s foam from the carpet, right??!! Shwew!
