The owner of the Scamp I was interested in sent photos this evening.
I had asked her to take photos of the floor and it looked great. Everything looked great, in fact — except the bathroom. It had a lot of problems, and since I’ve sworn off fixer-uppers, I passed on this one.
So back to the old proverbial drawing board. 🙂

/ October 14, 2011Kathy, I sure have been tempted to go out and buy a cute little Fun Finder, Coachmen Apex or KZ Spree. But when I think of the condition they will be in 5 years from now compared to the condition a molded fiberglass trailer will be in then, it makes the waiting a little easier. 🙂

/ October 16, 2011You did the right thing. Bathroom problems are a real headache. Did you know it takes 6 mths to order a new one. Theres a blog I read called rvsue and her canine crew . Sue just started solo fulltiming in a brand new casita she is in heaven.
Keep searching something will come your way , used or new.

Yes, I know it takes months when you order a new one. That’s why I’m hoping to find a used one in time to go home for Thanksgiving. I am starting to accept that might not happen though!
I follow rvsue religiously. It’s a fascinating insight into tiny trailer living fulltime.
If I didn’t mind going into debt for a new rig, I could order it now. If I don’t find anything used this winter, I will probably order a new one next summer.
