Looking Ahead

Today was the first morning since selling the Aliner that I have not woken myself up stewing over how to do various fixes on it.  I knew that the thought of rebuilding it depressed me, but I didn’t realize just how badly it had also oppressed me.

We’ve decided that we want to replace the Aliner with a 17′ Casita Liberty Deluxe.   We’ll be in shape to start looking for a good used one in October.  And if we can’t find a great used one, we will bite the bullet and order a new one.  Since there is a 4 – 6 month wait for one to be built, I am hoping we can go the used route.  But if not, I guess we can wait a few more months.

I’m tatting a candle motif for a Christmas card.  I think it’s going to turn out nice.  Will post a picture when I get it done.

  1. Something you enjoy so much should be a pleasure to deal with, even if it’s repairs so it was pretty clear, even with your optimism at times about it, that it wasn’t going that way for you. Glad to hear you’re following your dreams.

  2. Glad you feel better and are released from that psychological burden. I’m sure you will love the Casita. (I decided to order new and will pick-up in December). Good luck with your search!

    • Kim, I am still having trouble realizing that I really am free from that burden. No more stickies for me ever!

Congratulations on your new Casita! I am so happy for you! I bet the waiting is tough! 🙂
